This is a little forum game I invented, it's a variant on "Add to the pic". I just uploaded a picture of a gun, and someone has to draw 1 mod on it (And give details in his post). Then the next one has to put antoher mod on the new picture etc...

Be sure to save the picture as .png, though, to prevent quality loss.

Um... Well... Let's play! =D

Okay, figured I'd start with something simple like...a silencer. Here it is!

Another idea: At the end, take the picture, downsize it and use it as the HUD sprite for a new weapon in M2.

Since we seem to be headed in the 'assault rifle' direction anyway, I gave it a scope, a front grip and some nice AK-47 style wood hardware.

Added some papercut magic to it. Modified the stock, bent the clip a little to give it more of an Ak74 look.

If you look close enough, you can still see the initial pistol in it. I hope we keep modifying this thing until it turns into a TSX Fusion cannon.

EVOLUTION OF THE GUN

Tube---->Tube with handle---->Tube with handle and trigger---->...skip a few steps...---->This thing:

The laser unit and the 'EliteMods Compact Missile Launcher' are a little more, well, compact, making room for a seperate magazine and trigger for the missiles.

Knife thingy is a 'bayonette' in English and French, not sure about any other languages.

Anyway, moved the scope to the top of the rocket launcher. As well, since it was looking kinda heavy, I added a bipod stand to make it easier to fire.

Upon testing (looking at) the gun in my garage (head) I discovered that the silencer (grey thing above bayonet) was difficult to grip (slippery) and did not work very well lowing the volume (muting) of the weapon, so I spent the last few hours (minutes) drilling (editing) a new one.

Edit: This weapon is getting heavy, would sky-hooks be over-doing it?

Geez, you could probably take on the US plus any other army in the world if you used all the attachements.

Anyway, I've been thinking I should make a short mod centred around this gun, with a few maps were you get to use it and it's myriad of attachments to mow down hordes of enemy soldiers and tanks and the like. Anyone who wants to help out with it is welcome.

Oh, you can expand the size of the gun if you like. The intention is to get a really big gun at the end, after all =P

Okay, here's the mod for it. It's not finished, I've only made 4 maps, but if everyone could pitch in and make a few that'd be good. I incorperated the five weapon attachments and the '100% Edible' (which restores your health!) feature into the mod. DthDealer's snazzy background has also been resurected in the title screen.

Oh wow, where to start... Thanks for the enthusiasm.

There already is a 'boss' of sorts, though I haven't made a level where you fight it yet. You know that giant tank that's under construction in Mission 3? I was planning to use that (or possibly a whole squadron of them) as a final boss. But boss-battle arenas are a great idea too, I'll make some more 'bosses' to go in them.

Added the new tesla-coil sound as well. I didn't really like the one I had used anyway, I intended to find a new one, but yours is great. I also increased the damage for the bayonette and tesla coil. The attachment up above is updated with these improvements.

As for the flamethrower, good idea as well, I'll add that in. I was also thinking of a grenade launcher, I found myself missing it while testing the levels.

I also have a bit of a story thought up:

The Bad Guys are developing a new type of Supertank:-O with much greater firepower and armour protection than anything we've seen before. It is imperative that the construction of this tank be halted. Colonel Ash has been given the task of hampering the production of the Supertank:-O in any way possible. He has also been given an amazing new weapon, with a multitude of deadly attachments. He will use it to fight his way through all kinds of deadly enemies and obliterate all kinds of enemy matériel de guerre, to ensure that the deadly Supertank:-O is annhiliated once and for all!

Actually, the weapon is a little too long. Long enough to kill enemies though walls. So you should make the projectile's point of origin a bit closer to the player, and as a compensation, the range a little longer.

I wasn't talking about the Tesla Coil either; It was a completely random fact that totally had no relation with what you said.
But ahh whatever =)

BTW I do agree with the tesla coil thing... It's very small range makes it being the baddest mod of the gun at this moment.

This is a funny mod. I was somewhat disappointed that I didn't get to fight the tank.
I'd suggest when you eat part of your gun you actually lose one of your gun segments randomly once you've run out of gun parts to eat. =)
